Ash Fork School District

Ash Fork School District is located in the town of Ash Fork, Arizona in north-central Arizona at the juncture of state Highway 89 and Interstate 40 on Historic route 66. The Kaibab and Coconino National Forest Mountain peaks, with Bill Williams Mountain and Humphrey’s Peak dominating the eastern horizon. With an elevation of 5142 feet the climate is moderate. Prescott is one hour to the south and Flagstaff is one hour to the east. Other attractions within an hour of Ash Fork include San Francisco Peaks, Fairfield Snow Bowl, Northern Arizona Museum, Lowell Observatory, the Grand Canyon and many lakes and recreational areas.

The school district prides itself in having three schools that have earned a “Performing” label from the Arizona Department of Education. We offer outstanding academic programs, career and technical programs as well as a full complement of extracurricular opportunities for our students.

A new modern school building was constructed in 2003. It is equipped with the latest in technology for both teacher and student use. Our science labs are second to none. Playgrounds are up-to-date and are built with the child’s safety in mind. Our athletic facilities are the pride of the school and community and provide year-round opportunities for the youth in our community to participate in competitive and recreational athletic activates.

The goal of the Ash Fork Joint Unified School District is to provide an educational experience that will prepare our students to successfully compete in the workplace, tech school, college or university. Blessed with an outstanding facility and staff, a first rate faculty, and parent and community support we will deliver on that goal.

Please browse our website. Some areas are still “under Construction” and we apologize. We again, thank you for visiting our website and if we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to call our office.
