Student’s Teaching
The Fifth Grade Spartans had a blast creating math lessons for the Third grade. I couldn’t be more proud of the amazing lessons produced by this group. The quality and creativity far exceeded my expectations. Watching their intrinsic motivation, improved confidence, and leadership skills was a true joy.
After being assigned the specific standard to be taught, the students were given the freedom to choose who they wanted to work with and how they wanted to deliver the content. Many created slides shows, some made posters, others made books and one group invented a board game with directions, board, pieces and player awards.
Great job Fifth Grade!
