Middle school students at Flagstaff Aquaplex

2nd Quarter Team Building Reward Trip

At the beginning of the 3rd quarter, twenty-eight of the middle school students went swimming at the flagstaff aquatic center. The team building trip was a reward for students who showed academic and behavioral excellence during the second quarter of the school year.  To be eligible for the trip, students had to maintain a C or better for the quarter, have less than four absences, and receive no behavioral referrals. Ash Fork middle school students also participated in the Flagstaff Aquatic Center’s school supplies drive. They donated fifty-eight school supplies to the Flagstaff school district.

The students spent two hours at the pool and had a wonderful time using the slides, swimming in the lazy river, moving through the whirlpool, and swimming laps in the lanes. Additionally, the students also got to spend time with Kiki Hermanson, a high school volunteer student who helps tutor kids during Friday school for NHS.
