The High School Physics class takes part in a summative unit project to show off what they have learned. The project itself is to build a “catapult” to support and highlight the physics “behind” the catapult,  specifically, forces, energy, and projectile motion. The rationale is to make the physics more project-based by being more hands on which has been proven to make physics more fun and thus more engaging.
