Ash Fork School District

Today marks the beginning of the end for our Class of 2026. For the third year the seniors got together at sunrise by Ash Fork’s water towers. Sixteen of the twenty-four showed up for the event. The Class of 2024 started the Senior Sunrise and now it is becoming tradition. The students bring food and drinks to share and then they write goals on an index card. The goals can be personal, academic, and/or athletic. At the Senior Sunset on May 10,2026, they will revisit these goals to see if they met them. This experience gets better every year. They are all excited to start their Senior year this Wednesday. I, on the other hand, am hoping this year feels slower than usual. I know that’s not likely, because once we get into it, the year will be coming to an end. Let’s have an awesome year everyone!
