This season was truly a season of growth and learning for our middle school girls basketball team. Many of the girls were brand new to the sport, and it was inspiring to watch them learn new skills, gain confidence, and improve each week. I had so much fun watching them grow both as players and as teammates.
One of the most amazing parts of the season was seeing the girls take initiative to raise money and successfully earn enough for warm-up shirts and jackets. Their teamwork and dedication off the court were just as impressive as their efforts on the court.
Throughout the season, we learned new drills, focused on improving our shooting, and continued to build our foundational skills. Above all, our main goal was to have fun—and the girls truly embraced that spirit every step of the way. I couldn’t be prouder of their effort, enthusiasm, and heart.
