Film & TV Production Class. Learning the Art of Visual Storytelling. Making Silent Films and Creative short projects.

In Film and TV Production class, we have been diving into the basics of visual storytelling in a fun and creative way. We have been learning how camera angles, composition, and movement can help tell a story without always needing a lot of dialogue. One of the coolest parts of the class has been getting inspiration from classic filmmakers like Charlie Chaplin and exploring how emotion, timing, and physical performance can carry an entire scene.

Recently, we have been working on short film projects, including a few silent films, where students get to plan, act, film, and edit their own ideas. This has helped build confidence, teamwork, and creativity while also teaching real production skills. It has been awesome to see students step outside their comfort zones, take creative risks, and bring their stories to life on screen.
