Our middle school girls volleyball season has been full of growth, teamwork, and determination. We started the season with 24 athletes and finished strong with 23 dedicated players who showed commitment from beginning to end.
Both our A and B teams improved tremendously throughout the season. The B team had an outstanding run, consistently ranking 2nd, while the A team competed hard and finished in 4th place overall.
We also want to recognize our Blue & Gold team. Although they did not travel this season, they showed incredible growth, effort, and dedication in every practice and scrimmage. Their development has been exciting to watch, and I look forward to seeing many of them move up and contribute to our B and A teams in the years to come.
Now, we head into tournament weekend with excitement and Spartan pride. The A team will play Seligman on Friday @9:00 AM, April 17, in Ash Fork. With a win, they will advance to face Parks, and a second win will take them to the championship game at 2:00 PM. If they fall to Parks, they will compete for 3rd place at 1:00 PM.
The B team will travel to Grand Canyon on Saturday, with their first game at 11:00 AM. A win will move them into the championship game at 1:00 PM, while a loss will place them in the 3rd place game.
