This year has started out great in Ash Fork High School Welding. We have had 4 successful OSHA 10 tests completed this year. In our year one class, we have been working on blueprint reading and basic stringer bead welding to get used to the feel of welding. Our year two class has been doing small building projects and fabrication. We have made birdhouses, radiator brackets, metal American flags, and an electrical box cover. In quarter two, we will continue focusing on improving welding control and bead appearance while moving into SMAW for the year one students and GMAW for year two students, with Christmas decorations for the school.
