Fall sports are underway at Ash Fork High school. 15 girls came out for the 2021 season. The girls started their season with a tough win against Bagdad (26-28) (25-18) (25-16) (22-25) (15-12). Then, the team went on to play Williams and suffered their first loss of the season. After these games the team competed in the Annual Spartan Classic Tournament, where they won 3 games and lost 4 games taking 4th place in the tournament. After, the tournament the team lost to Basis and beat Seligman. The varsity team is led by setter Paola (108 assists), outside hitters Olivia (40 kills) and Emily (28 kills), opposite Kasey (43 kills and 119 digs), middle blockers Kadence, Hannah, and Jamie with a combined 7 blocks and 27 kills, and Libero Aspen (87 digs).
Coach Lauren would like to thank all of the supportive parents and fans. I am looking forward to the rest of this season.
