High winds, rainy days, snow, and minimal sunshine must mean that softball season is officially underway at Ash Fork High School. 17 girls came out for the team this year. It was great to see this many girls interested since we have not had a team in 3 years. 14 of the girls are from Ash Fork and 3 girls join us from Seligman. This season has already been filled with new experiences, long trips, and lots of laughs. The girls are led by Seniors from Seligman Ines and Iris, Freshman Pitcher Jessie, and Captain Aspen. The Spartans are coached by Lauren Hume and Natalie Broehm. We look forward to seeing many faces in the stands when the weather warms up.
