Pat's Run 2022

On April 23, 2022, twelve Ash Fork Middle School students and two Ash Fork Elementary Students participated in the 18th annual Pat's Run in Tempe, Arizona.

Pat's Run is a fundraising memorial run honoring Pat Tillman, who died on April 22, 2004, serving his country in Afghanistan. Before joining the Army Rangers in 2002, Pat Tillman played professional football for the Arizona Cardinals and football for the ASU Sun Devils.

The theme of this year's run was Pushing Limits which is appropriate for the Ash Fork students. Before the run, none of the students had run in a race event that required them to run multiple miles at one time. The run was 4.2 miles long and ran along Tempe Town Lake and the streets of Tempe before ending on the Sun Devil Stadium football field. The students did a fantastic job pushing their limits and finishing their runs in under an hour.
