State testing isn't anyone's favorite time of the year, but it is a very important part of our job as educators and students. The challenges of testing season wear on all of us. That being said, I am super proud and impressed by how hard and focused the students have been. Not only have they taken the testing process seriously, but they have done an outstanding job preparing for the test. This is the hardest I've seen kids work in recent years.
The simple process of setting goals and working towards them is a lifelong lesson that can be applied far beyond a student's Ash Fork Schools experience. In turn, witnessing student empowerment keeps us educators going and provides the ever so important hope for all of us.
