At Ash Fork Schools, we believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and feel supported. This year, our district serves 262 students, and 51 of them—19.5%—receive support through an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a 504 plan. That is significantly higher than the Arizona state average (about 12.3%). Nearly one in five of our students benefits from specialized services, accommodations, or individualized learning support.
These numbers reflect something important:
Our students are diverse, resilient, and capable — and our families stand beside them every step of the way.
To Our Families: Thank You for Your Strength
In our rural community, many families face challenges every day — long work hours, limited resources, economic stress, and the added responsibilities that come with advocating for a child with unique needs. And yet, despite it all, you continue to show up for your children with love, determination, and hope.
We see you.
We see the parents who attend meetings during lunch breaks or after long shifts.
We see the families who juggle appointments, school events, and the needs of all their children.
We see the caregivers who stay patient, stay involved, and stay committed — even when life feels overwhelming.
Your efforts do not go unnoticed.
Your children thrive because of you.
And we are honored to walk this journey with you.
Our Commitment to You and Your Children
Our special education and support teams work every day to make sure every student receives the care and services they deserve. Whether through individualized instruction, accommodations, therapies, or collaborative problem-solving, we are dedicated to helping your children grow academically, emotionally, and socially.
But we cannot do it alone — and we are grateful that we don’t have to.
Thank you for partnering with us, asking questions, advocating for your children, and trusting us with their education. Together, we are building a supportive network around every student who needs us.
Warm Holiday Wishes From Our Team
As we enter the holiday season, we want to wish every Ash Fork family moments of peace, joy, and rest.
You deserve it.
We hope your holidays are filled with warmth, connection, and time spent with the people you care about most. Your children inspire us every day, and we are grateful to serve such a strong, caring, and resilient community.
Thank you for all you do — today, this season, and always.
