Ash Fork School District

On May 11, 2021 seventh graders and eighth graders went to the Grand Canyon for their middle school P.E. final. Students hiked six miles down Bright Angel Trail to Plateau Point and back to the rim for a total of twelve miles. Students worked hard this year to prepare for their final. They ran a mile daily, climbed stairs, and did towel pushes in the gym. As a result all of the hikers did a fantastic job on their hike and finished their twelve miles in under eight hours.
