I would like to take this opportunity to affirm the students and their families who are committed to Friday School this year. It takes extra effort from the team that is made up of student, family and teacher to make it successful.
This year we have a motivated group of kids who are working hard to close the gaps. With consistency and focus on our goals, I believe we can regain our momentum and create a group of life-long learners who are prepared for success at the next level.
Through small group, one on one and peer instruction student are utilizing extra time practicing and being retaught the standards. This is even more important than ever after the frustrations of the last couple of years.
I’m starting to feel hope again that we can build a community of learners who are willing to do whatever it takes to become successful, contributing members of society.
